Most students are between 8 and 14 years old. But as soon as your child actively uses a keyboard and can practise (with concentration) for about 10 to 15 minutes a day, it is already possible to start.
Yes, when signed in into the learning environment it is possible to toggle the dyslexia setting. When this setting is on, the exercises will then be displayed with a special font that is easier to read for children with dyslexia. You can turn this setting on/off at any time.
As long as the computer has a working Internet connection and a (modern) web browser, you can learn to type with our typing course. We recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as a web browser.
As long as your tablet has an external keyboard and a screen resolution of at least 1140 pixels, you can use your tablet for our application.
Our program has 6 chapters. Each chapter contains about 25 exercises. Depending on how much is practised and the student's level, the exact duration will vary.
To successfully pass the final exam, 150 keystrokes per minute are required, with an accuracy of 90%.
An account for our typing course gives you access to our online learning environment for at least one year. After this period expires, the account is automatically closed. This prevents us from storing personal data unnecessarily in our database and saves storage costs, allowing us to offer our course free of charge.
A professional account offers several advantages. For instance, you will not be distracted by advertisements and you get access to extra functionalities. For example, insight into graphs about your progress.
When multiple children use one account at the same time, the student's progress cannot be properly tracked. As a result, the technique may be taught incorrectly. Via our sign up form, you can easily sign up multiple children at once.
